“I am ready to lead District 38”

My name is Erin Gamez and I am your Democratic candidate for Texas State Representative District 38. As a Cameron County native, born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, my passion is to serve and place our Community First for a Better Tomorrow!

After graduating from law school, I moved back home to our district and joined our small family business, which my father began 30 years ago. I have been practicing law for the past five years as an advocate for families across the State of Texas.

I am honored to serve my community, and I wish to continue to do so in this new role. I understand the importance that legislation plays in developing opportunities in our district, and that’s what I plan to bring to our community. I will bring us the opportunities we – our families and children – deserve to become a destination for education, small business growth, and job placement.

My passion for service has guided and motivated me to earn the trust and respect of not only my clients, but my peers and colleagues as well. I am driven to earn that same trust and respect from the public should I be given the opportunity to lead us forward.

I am prepared to represent and defend my community with the same level of vigor, commitment, and passion as I do with my small business and family. I am ready to lead District 38 and prioritize our community needs. We appreciate your support.
